I've ordered my virtual or in person consult, now what?
MRC will be reaching out to set up a 30 minute virtual call/in person visit, dependent upon your selected service. During this call, we will discuss your project, room dimensions, dive into your design style, desires and must haves for the space, budget and more.
How do the in person and virtual design consults differ?
MRC is a Dallas-based design firm, so we currently only offer in person consultations in Dallas. For virtual consults, you will receive source links in your design to place orders at your leisure & for any trade based items (sourced items/fabrics that would need to be ordered by MRC and delivered to you) can be ordered at your request.
For in person consults, MRC is available to bring by swatches & samples for viewing within your physical project space prior to ordering approvals for upholstered, custom and semi custom items.
Can you work with different budget ranges?
Absolutely! Since this is a bespoke experience, MRC is happy to work with your means to realistically design your space.
What is the turnaround time for providing final design after the consult meeting?
MRC will provide your design within 5-10 business days following our consultation.
How will my design be delivered to me?
For both virtual and in person clients, you can expect to receive your designed mood board, room layout, source links, paint and fabric swatches for upholstered items, drapery, wall coverings complied within a PDF document.
What if my project will require more time than the initial consult and I'd like additional support through the ordering and installation process?
MRC offers a la carte hourly bookings after initial consults based on design need (ie. support with custom drapery, pillows, installation, sourcing contractors, and more). This will be discussed and approved with the client prior to invoicing this additional service.
